great

the best remake of beak-out i've ever played, keep it up

well done

its a better remake of a game it all flowed smoothly and was fun to play mayb a backround music not to loud but just to be there to keep it interesting also a retry button or something tha allows u to check ur progress (password) woulfd be nice
good job

Great

It was a great remake of the game except I found a few bugs.
1.) When i got the 3 balls one of them would just go through all the blocks and not get rid of any at all.
2.) Sometimes the ball would go through the indistructable blocks.
3.) When i got the laser to shoot the blocks occasionally the bullets would go through the blocks not destroying anything.
Overall it was a great game but I think it would be nice if the powerups and powerdowns where more random in regular blocks, and not in places already. Also I think it would be nice with some music that you can turn off if you like. Besides the bugs this was a great, fun, and addicting game.

Some bugs

I'm writing this from an alternate account since I already reviewed the game, but found some bugs in the meantime that I'd like to let you know about.

1) When you run out of lives and start the game again, you start in the level you were last in, not in level 1; after you clear that level, however, the game continues in level 2, as it should.

2) The paddle stops responding to the mouse if the mouse pointer leaves the window. This is rather unfortunate, as it can easily happen if you have to move fast in order to catch a ball; in particular, if you go fast enough, the mouse will leave the window before the paddle is at the left / right border of the playing field, leaving a hole through which the ball fall. (It's highly annoying when this happens.)

3) When you hold a powerup as you finish a level, it will not be disabled during the "Get ready" message for the next level. In particular, this means that if you have the "shooting" powerup, you can click the left mouse button and destroy blocks on the new level during the "Get ready" message.

4) Not really a bug, but there should be a "Retry" option after you die that'd allow you to restart from the last level you were in. The lower levels can get a bit boring after a while if you have to replay them all the time to get to that particular level that you want to practice. ^_~
