Reviews for "Drowtales 4th b-day"

Frankly, I just don't care for it.

I'm not one of those dumb bastards who cuss you out in a one-line post, so don't worry.

I love anime, in fact, my room has a lot of Japanese items and Anime DVDs. This, however, was just too.. random and unexplained for me. I know I could go to the site and read the whole series, but frankly, I'm too busy to spend all my time indulging myself in it.

Now, this is a very well-made animation. I don't animate or do flash movies, but you don't have to be a famous web-artist like Rubber-Ninja, Legedary Frog, or Knox to know how good or bad a flash movie is.

The sound is great, the art is sublime, but somewhere along the lines, you lost me. If you had made the whole web-comic series into a flash-series, you'd have more fans of the comic AND this flash.

As for one of the girls' British accent.. that was pretty fake. Like when she said 'advertisement,' she lost the mimic.

While watching the movie, when the 3 viewers constantly interrupted with strange, confusing comments, it almost muted the newscaster's voice entirely, making it very hard to hear. And yes, I'm aware there was a subtitle option, but even with it on, it was still a bit difficult to read two lines in the time given while they were speaking.

The gothic-looking character looks like she should have the voice of a guy. All that black clothing and miscellanious piercings look like they'd fit better on a male. The voice and attitude of her reminded me of Raven from Teen Titans. The dark, misunderstood, badass-wannabe character.

That's all from me. Next time, maybe you'll make a flash movie that meets my standards.

Just wanted to mention, she is actually a real Brit. And the word was "advertising", not "advertisement".

Great Animation... BUT

I just cannot get past a Drow looking, acting, and talking like this. I have not looked at the whole series so I cannot judge to harshly though. Like the title said I like the animation style, but I don't think it is good for drow, maybe something like Hello Kitty... but bloodthristy drow come on. The voices in the background were a little annoying at times and music seemed to jump.

its so unfair

how do u draw like that?

I like it.

I am a tad curious though, if this is the 4th b-day of Drowtales, where can I find the other installments. Please feel free to contact me via this screename YahooID is ronicus_of_corinicus...you can also email me at yahoo mail com.

Thanks and Great Job Gang!!
