No word can properly describe how awesome this is.
But I'll try to find one while I write this review.
This is an amazing game. If you improved it - say, better graphics, and more levels - I'd gladly buy it for about $20.
The length is amazing, it kept me busy for a LONG time. It was a good type of long game - it didn't get to the 'ugh, when will this end' point, it was just perfect.
Some of the weapons were a little useless - I don't think anyone would ever buy a plasma relay - but the useful ones were great.
The lack of weapons usable on moving targets was sort of a downfall, but that won't effect the perfect 10.
I enjoyed all 30 levels of this. I had extreme fun trying to think about what weapon would work against my newest enemy.
The black hole bombs were a highly original idea, and I'm glad they were there - they provided a huge challenge. Though, they might be a little TOO longrange, but that's no problem - it didn't make it impossible.
The idea of backup, who could have different orders, was simply stunning.
The weapons and their different uses were all very original - the Photon Compression Bomb was amazing when you got to steal one back from the enemy and use it. It was wonderfully longrange - I got killed the first time by it because I was too close - and EXTREMELY powerful, though I never bought one, partly from cost and partly because I'd probably be dead by the time it went off! Hehe.
The animations/graphics of approaching the wormhole shocked me at just how good they looked. The graphics just took my breath away, they were so original and well-drawn. I especially liked the space station at the end.
Humour was missing, but that'd be a lame thing to take points off for.
The worst thing about this game were the repetitive explosion noises. They got so old I decided to mute my laptop and play without them somewhat after I was halfway through.
This deserves to be the #1 submission, or at least the #1 game on Newgrounds. You should really design games for profit. You're amazing, keep up the good work.

Excellent game
A decent variety of weapons, ship upgrades, and decently fast paced action make this an excellent top down shooter, especially in flash form. The interactive tutorial and ability control wingmen is also a nice addition. Overall, this game is magnificently done, and reminds me of the PC game FreeSpace (and no, I'm not promoting). Only a few problems I could see. First off, it'd be nice to see a save option on this version so I wouldn't have to start all over everytime. Also, there's a glitch when you try to replay a level that screws up the maneuvering of the ship. Hope you can get it fixed, and congrats on a top-notch game.
