Reviews for "The Gallant Seventh"

A Musical Galaga.

I found the game enjoyable - especially the music. The life bar was an nice touch. There's no way to survive that barrage of on coming note attacks if you only had one hit.

A couple suggestion that would greatly improve the game. If you ever decide to make a sequel or update this one.

- Mutiple Song selection. (variety is best!) Maybe different levels have different songs.
- What about power ups? (Music note fired changes to different notes when a certain pickup is caught!)
- Maybe a instrument selection. (Different characters to play as)
- Difficulty (Too easy! - make health deplete quicker)
- Too short!!! (More levels - Endless mode get repetitive too easily!)

Overall Great game!!

Thanx for the compliments. Adding new songs would make the filesize skyrocket, but maby if I make a sequel.

very interesting game. took me almost forever to figure it out and then almost forever again to try and win this game, but it was really well worth the efforts, since i liked playing this game. very creative work.

Interesting to say the least

Perhaps in a remake/sequel to this, you could have the song as a midi file, and change the volume of the instrument tracks depending on what you've shot down? i.e. if you shoot out a drum, the drums are quieter, until you shoot them all out when they stop.

Fast-paced frenxy

This is a fun game. It's definitely simplistic and pretty shallow, but if shooting a load of musical instruments with notes from my tuba, is wrong then I don't want to be right.

To be fair, when I say it's simplistic, I can still see that a lot of work has gone into matching up the attack waves of instruments with the instruments currently playing in the music. This is why there is an almost constant deluge of drums throughout.

Still, as a little timewaster, you can't do much better than this!
