Reviews for "Dance Dance Remix"

Eh?

If you were trying to create something even remotely similar to DDR, I believe you failed incredibly so. The music is okay...but a bigger selection is always welcome. The way the arrows come down and the pattern is original, to my knowledge. But they don't stick to the beat very well at all. Keep trying, I'm sure you'll hit it on the head one of these times!

better, but still needs some work

this is doing a little better, but the arrows still don't match up with the beat. Also, it's a bit easy at this point, throw in some more arrows. a lot more

Not bad

But you need a specific point at which hitting the key is on beat or "Perfect" like in the other DDR variants.

Has potential.

I believe as Locked_Ghost said, this game shows a lot of promise.
All you need is and actual end to the music, more selection, arrows that go with the music, more difficulty, backgrounds, score bars, maybe a multiplayer feature? Player 1 uses W,A,S,D and Player 2 uses the arrow keys. I also noticed that the down key was not used... why's that? Just try a "Dance Dance Super Remix" and come back with more and better music.

More like a bump down.

To be honest judging by its score I didnt even think this game would work, but the beginning looked pretty impressive, heres a couple quick tips for ya.

1. the error zone on the bottom is way to big, it makes the song incredibly easy to play. perhaps add a line in the middle of it to symbolize the exact timing.

2. make sure your songs are PERFECTLY synched with the notes. Otherwise people will be making mistakes that were not his/her own fault.

3. get better techno....

4. a bar uptop will help check how good the player is doing, this game should not be designed that if he gets one out of the area he fails automatically.

5. difficulty modes should also be added, at least 2 per song, itll help less experienced players get better, or challenge better players.

6. add a scoring system, number based.

7. get better techno.

I'm only mentioning these things because this game shows alot of promise.

Haykuro responds:

ill be sure to include most of that in the next version.

This version will slowly be added more techno as i find it..
