Reviews for "Erik the Juiceman MikeEp7"

It has been a loooong day.

Haven't been to Newgrounds for ages. Came back yesterday and watched the "easter song." Decided to watch the Eric the Juiceman series. Been spending the rest of the day watching each consecutive episode. You have reminded me how painful it is to run off dial-up.

Anyways, now that my life story is out of the way, awesome job on these, obviously I got hooked on them.

man what a great series!

man when i watch the frist part, i was hook.
before i knew it , i watched all the parts. this
was the coolest series i ever seen. this should
get it own section on ng. great job overall!
oh yeah nice attack big f#cking beam. lmao!
and uh please make part 8. please

Gobolatula responds:

Thank you very much. I'm currently working on episode 8 and I should hopefully have it finished in a couple months.

All of these are just so.. good!

It's like your animation skills and your humor grew throughout the series. I literally 'rofled' at some of the parts, especially the big fucking beam joke and the gay cop (hahahah). Tords the end it did sway tords dragon ball Z abit, but somehow that was OK. Your battles were well coordinated and it wasn't just one guy raping the other or something very predictible like in most action scenes. I had some iffy thoughts about the graphics when watching the first episode, but now when I look back I see I was fully decieved!
This is what a quality series is about!

Kind regards
Demonfox
PS:: Make eight.

Gobolatula responds:

Whoa! Thanks man. Yeah, over the years I've been heavily influenced by DBZ. I'm actually in the process of making 8, so yeah. Expect that in a few months.

AWesome

you have got the skill mate, i always found insperation from yours animation:D

Gobolatula responds:

I appreciate that shit, son! Wow, the last review of this damn thing was back in JULY! Maybe it's time I get to work on Part 8 (the finale).

Perfectly nonsensical.

I've been a big fan of Erik the Juiceman ever since I first saw episode one of the Mike saga on an unrelated web site. It seems that with every episode, Mr. Perazza manages to improve his ninjaskills and refine his off-the-wall sense of humor.

Cutting directly from the battle field to a scene with Erik urinating on breakfast for no reason at all is a perfect summation of the Juiceman sense of humor: Make as little sense as possible while poking fun at how ridiculous things have gotten.

Let's ignore how much the animation style has advanced since his last episode (A lot!) and keep this about the humor. What Perazza is able to do is rare; He's random without being idiotic. Too often, "random" humor sounds something like this: "Shoe~! Michael Jackson! Look at that duck! LOLOLLOL!!!!11!" While this may be amusing to the 9-year olds who write it, it's annoying and without substance to anyone else. The first scene of Mike ep. 7 gives us a man who has to use the restroom desperately running through town screaming with the song "Move, B*tch" playing in the background. If this sounds immature to you, it is. But that's why it's funny.

The voices have improved, as well. There's a definate clarity that now seems missing from his earlier episodes. It gives the animation a sense of professionalism.

Awesome movie. Looking forward to the next one.
