super good. it was not super easy the first time i played i underestamated it comp and lost so its not that easy .
very good. onr thing though the pices where hard to tell apart sometimes.

5 games in a row! The replay action is so useful, very good for studying strategy. Perhaps consider getting a tough chess program and adding a higher dificulty level.
Another idea; when a piece is going to move and the squares light up, only make squares light up that the piece can actually move too (Like king not able to move into check and stuff) This would be great for beginers. In a possible beginner mode, the squares should light up more, or with brighter color.

castling
castling is never allowed in 3 situations:
1. if the king is in check before you do castling
2. if the king is in check while you do castling
3. if the king is in check after the castling

simple and just a good ole game o chess! i play on my pc sometimes but it normally beats me even on beginner, i won this one so i'm happy lol
