Reviews for "The Silver Monster (rework)"

fucking amazing man...

I was reading the author comments and I got lost for a sec in that memory... damn... good job

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

Thanks man.

I actually love how conflicting this is

granted it isnt for everyone, but it gives me images of 16mm family films all happy, but as they play get becomes stretched and mangled as if theres something darker to these otherwise happy memories. Ill be downloading this one, and analyzing it for some time.

thanks

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

I agree, its probably not for everyone, which is fine.
That's a really great image, though. It's interesting you say that. Perhaps subconscious manifestations of my past are entwined unknowingly. I'd like to hear further analyzing if you'd ever want to fill me in.

I'd also like for you to hear the finished track, more so.

It'll be coming out September 13 on a full album. If you're interested in me hooking you up with the track. Let me know.

thanks for listening.

It's alright

I really love the song, I would have just cut out those buzzing "glitchy" sound effects, I think it is a bad combo, like it gives the song a bad "aftertaste". I really like the percussion, though. That made the song sound pretty good.

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

You might be right. Its not for everyone.

too conflicting

The peaceful beginning was very pleasant and begged me to relax, but when the drum and bass/breakcore came in it just tore me apart on different the feeling for both of these melodies are. The ambient sounded like a person watching a nice sunset at the edge of an ocean but the D&B sounded like it was in this battle scene. I don't know if your intention was for this to happen, your song title does hint that it does, but I really think that these two parts should have stayed separate.

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

to each their own. I like peace and chaos together.

amazing!!!

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

Thanks man. I'm glad to inspire you.
