Impressive!
I think this is considerably better than your other work, not to discredit those, but this stands out.
The landscape is drawn very very well, especially considering how this is only in black and gray.
You use the crease between the two sketchbook pages artistically, which is really original and appropriate with the theme - the crease forms a "path" through your painting.
This is surreal but not as abstract as your other work.

Really? I've never thought this to be as refined as my other works, I'm surprised that you thought this one stood out. I've never thought of it as a good stand alone, rather an ink painting just to tag along with all the other quick studies I've done. I can't say its detailed but I can definitely agree it draws in the viewer, especially with the void in between the two pages.

Water and ink isn't the most forgiving art medium to use, but you seem to have very good control over it. This is really talented work.
thanks, but this was made before I started using ink, instead I used watered down acrylic paint. I'm not sure that it makes much of a difference though, you just can't get it as dark with higher dilutions
