Reviews for "RetroPico -Full Version- Remix"

pretty cool!

i gotta say, this definitely does sound retro, makes me think of the old genesis games i played at home. anyways, great production, the background bass and claps could be just a bit louder but aside from that i don't see anything wrong here, it'd fit perfectly into a flash, game, or hell even a small movie if push came to shove (though i don't make the first two, just movies, lol)

keep up the good work!

NeoDeadlyRave responds:

Thanks! Oh yeah definitely genesis! Thanks a lot! You see the problem I have is that with the program I use to record, no matter what drum kit I choose, there's always something odd. Like one drum kit will have a softer bass pedal or clap and etc. Its something I need to fix, and I can't change the individual volume of each piece of the drum like you can in garageband so it sucks ass sometimes. Well thanks a lot for your review and I hope that any of my songs will get into more games and flash movies! :D

Sounds like...

A megaman remix techno song. haha

NeoDeadlyRave responds:

I've never heard that before. Badass!

Nice.

It's catchy, moderately long, and it fits the genre. What more would it need?

I can only think of one thing. But it's small.

Three minutes is kind of short. It's still good though.

You pass!

NeoDeadlyRave responds:

Yeah I'm not too good when it comes to making a lengthy song, but eh. :) Thanks for the review!

Signature in a way...

Intro was polytone on the usage but was under taken by the drums that diddnt go with the beat as well as i thought they should have.
A bit lengthy, but does fit he description of "Retro Pice" whitch is what you were after so good work.

SHINE ON

NeoDeadlyRave responds:

Yeah instead of just a normal one bass hit then high hat then snare and then reverse, I tried something different with the bass drum, but I didn't think it was the best either. Thanks!
