Reviews for "Tinman"

Keep It Up

Wow is all I can say, I must have watched it two or three times just to make sure what I saw was there infront of me.

It is a truely fantastic submission, not only the outside aspect but it's inner message struck me hard.

BlackmarketKraig responds:

Wow, thank you.

It's amazing to me that a total stranger could find something that I've made profound in some way.

Thanks for reviewing!

Excellent concept but...

Love the theme, really really excellent. But the repetition of 'empty' cuts the flow of the mood. The first one or two were good for the setting of the tone, but there were too many.
Keep it up!

BlackmarketKraig responds:

Hmm yeah, you have a good, valid point. Maybe I went overboard with that. :P

BlackmarketKraig responds:

I'm sorry. :'(

I like sad things, I make sad things... What can I say? I'm a depressive.

Thanks for reviewing.

it was good

nice flow, great music, but im kinda seein alot of robots wanting feelings now... other then that its great

BlackmarketKraig responds:

Yeah, I'm hearing that about the robot wanting emotions theme all over... damn.

But, hell, if the Matrix can make a gazillion dollars off of an idea that was older than Plato, well, then recycled material can't be all bad, right? :P

Heh, sorry. Thanks for reviewing and for the great score!

I dunno

Once a robot is CONCIOUS of the fact that they lack soemthing, in this case emotional, he ceases to lack anything at all. At that point he is already feeling a lot of things. Especially if he's concious enough to understand the symbolism of a "heart"(shape) and that this robot feels it's something his "body" needs. THe robot seemed to want to be more of a human than just have these suggested human qualities. The robot had plenty of emotions. It's one thing if the robot can simply acknowledge that he does or does not have something, like a machine often can, than to have the robot who can decide for himself whether this is someting he wants or not. I dunno, I think that robot had plenty of feelings in my perspective.

BlackmarketKraig responds:

Yes, I think he did too! ^_^
