Reviews for "Gelatin Crusaders (A->N)"

Hm...

Very intresting. I love the beat, and the vocals were okay, but it really could've done without them. It was really good but, like version20 said, it would sound perfect in my opinion if you had an instrument instead of singing.

It has an almost ambient sound to it. The song feels like something I'd listen to often. So overall, a beautiful tone and what sounds like skill gives it a 9/10.

Thanks for the review! Had we been planning to release this as a full-fledged song instead of a contest entry, I feel like we would've taken a bit of a different direction. But the contest called for a kids song; I think we fulfilled that requirement.

Check out our stuff on myspace for some songs that we intended for a full release!

Wow..

That a good Techno song.I never heard a good song like that ffor a while.

ApproachingNirvana responds:

Thanks!

Interesting concept..

But in my opinion, not enough follow-through. The beat that followed the song was a little cliche; however, that's how most techno gets these days. I'll admit I agree with ShortEmo, that it could have done without the lyrics.

Remixes don't always have to have the same lyrics, and I think that if you had even just replaced the singing with a different instrument, you could have avoided making people embarrassed to listen to this in public.

Other than that, it had a nice constant rhythm, and it was still better than a lot of what I've heard. I'd be interested in hearing what else you're going to come up with.

ApproachingNirvana responds:

You know, you're exactly right on so many things. If this was for my personal tastes and to be current, we would not have done some of the things we did. However, for the Who's Your Daddy contest, which we made this for... we did exactly everything on purpose to be enjoyable by younger children. Less bass, cutsie vocals, childesh instruments. etc.

You're exactly right. And we really appreciate the review :D

Ehhh.....

It was great, but the vocals ruined it.

ApproachingNirvana responds:

Interesting.

Thanks for the review.

Sweet

Hapy happy!
