Good and all, buuuuut...
You lost the entire feel of the theme.
You took a theme of hopelessness and made it into a rock song. While good, you could have used a better base, or at least just called it something else.
Nice guitar shred near the end.

to me this ruins the grace of the real song. This song isn't supposed to be epic but instead smoothing and calm, and you destroyed that. 3/10 and 2/5
