Reviews for "Silent Tears [Orch]"

Sad, but relieved

This song really can be put into so many contexts. In my case, it reminds me of feelings I had for my recent g/f. I felt sad to break it off, but at the same time I had a positive outlook on things to come. This song fits those feeling of sadness laced with happiness all in one. I can't really describe how powerful that the emotions that this song creates really are. A wonderful piece of art and I hope everything works out for you. Thank you for making my day : )

Dj-Flux responds:

It's definitely a relieving piece when I listen to it. It makes it easier to move on.

I'm glad you liked it. :]

Piercing emotion

When I listened to this song for the first time, I felt a pang of emotion I never felt before. The music moved me in a way that no words on this planet can describe.

I don't have such a story as everyone else does. When the song plays, I don't think about people in my life who have died. Until hours ago, I don't think I had a story to put this song into context. Some people think in the past when they hear this, but instead I look to the future. A bleak future. The people I grew to love and admire are leaving, slowly but surely. I told myself not to let my emotions get the better of me. But as I talked to my friends, this song just stirred up so many emotions, mainly because I knew, it would probably be my last chance to experience those emotions again. Man, you have been a divine inspiration to me, and it saddens me further to know how this song was born in misery instead of joy.

5/5 10/10. Even though it won't change the future, it will remain my one constant over the next few years.

Dj-Flux responds:

A very flattering story. I'm glad you were impacted the way that you were, and take it far enough to influence yourself.

No matter whether it was born from misery or not, it was carved out of block of emotions and it tells it's own story. :]

Thanks much for the review.

Wow...

Ok, Warning... STORY.

This song... is.. just.. I really can't put a placement on this. It tells stories after stories. A different one every time i listen. It releases all the anger, hatred, love, sadness, and affections in you... This reminds me of so much shit I've been through. Happy and sad times in life. My dad leaving when i was two... my best friend dieing in a car crash... My favorite grandfather dieing :'[ It's just so epic how a piece so commonly made... can turn out so epic. Into a masterpiece. And yet, it's never perfect. You can make it better. Just like life. Never gets better until it gets worst. You've inspired me man... You really have. I think I'm going to go give my dad a call now. Just, wow... It's so nice, that I could sit here and just keep on listening. Just wish it was longer... But again, this song is like life... It's not over, until it's complete. There's still life to live and things to experience. Just amazing.. truly amazing. I nearly cried listening to this. But then.. just. Smiled :)

And sorry to hear that man :\ IT does suck when a girl you truly loved just gets up and walks out the door... And making another version of "Her Song" was a great way to, again, let your emotions fly out. Sadness can be a cure, instead of a hold up in life. Which is exactly why this song helps :) At least people are moving on, right?? :]

Again, Great Song... I want to say so much more but do not have the time, sadly :(

Your Songs Epic Man.

Thanks much for the review, I appreciate the thoughts.

Nice work

This is definitely one of those conclusion songs, that you'd see at the end of a TV series on the last episode. I like the strings, the overall feel. But there doesn't seem to be much of a defined melody. I heard it in the piano before, but now it's gone into a solo a bit.

One suggestion I have is to try layering this song. It starts about a bit heavy right away. you could add each part as you go, as it tends to lend itself to be one of those looped and layered pieces.

Dj-Flux responds:

I plan on coming back and doing another rendition eventually, when I can make it a little more professional and add a proper conclusion. :]

wow

i remember when my dad left. i was 5 years old. I now understand how when you find some way, no matter what it is, to create something. no matter what you create, it will be a masterpiece, like this. this gave me the inspiration to write a song. i wont submit it, but thank you for giving and sharing this amazing piece of music. please pm me of any upcoming songs you have
