Reviews for "LoZ: OoT Lock Remix"

Not too Shabby

Good job. I wouldnt have seen this if Wonchop hadn't have linked me to it =). The menu was a bit confusing because you cant tell what the buttons do until you hover over them... Apart from that the animation was smooth. Some of the drawings could have been a bit better but everyone has their own style right?

I voted 5 anyway ^_^

sandman0277 responds:

I was going to make the buttons into the medallions. But when I tried it looked really shitty...

well....

I only liked the Bolero of Fire, Minuet of Forest, and Prelude of Light. The stupidest one was the Nocturne of Shadows. Fire that dude. The easter egg was kinda....well...meh. It's just average, not an insult to the series, but not a compliment either.

sandman0277 responds:

You can't really fire the person who compiles the collab, IE me.

cool

well, i know i'm not big fan of locks and all, but this LoZ collab was pretty cool.
i liked this collab, it was cool.

not bad.

it was okay nice work i enjoyed it.

It's ok, but needs more.

The lock faces were expressive, but in the Bolero of Fire, you had a normal link and a lock Sheik which just doesn't feel right; either both or niether. It's an interesting use of the original song in Zelda, it sounds like the ones that were used when you learn them the first time, but I don't remember if there was any difference between that and when you played them... I don't give it a high score because mainly, it reminds me of the original scenes when I hear the music (and those were years ago when I last saw them) so... It kind of makes anything look bad by comparison because they were so deeply moving and stuff. It's a good flash, but the music just connotes so much more than anyone could ever put in a flash (well, maybe if you made it about 10x as good as the average flash with a 4 or higher...)
