I'm not an american patriot, and am not a pro-war conservative, but this comic represents a mostly untrue vision of the vietnam war, which was spread by the media, population and the army to explain their defeat against what was seen as a third-world country.
The truth of the Vietnam War is quite different, and is a real interesting subject. I suggest you try and learn from non-american media what really transpired on the far side of the Pacific.
