Being a buddhist, I really enjoyed this, but the one thing I don't understand is the "house-ego" part
I was worried.
I finally got bored and typed Buddha in the search bar in NG. Being Buddhist, I though there'd be parodies. You were really close with the four stages. Nice story to "enlighten" those who think sitting in one place and humming makes you Buddhist.

in fact, there were multiple buddhas from multiple traditons so agree that it should be "buddha" not "the buddha"
