Reviews for "Solomon's Key"

bout time!

Back in 87' my best friend and I would try to beat this game but as his father found out, there are waaaay too many levels. I've always remembered this music and try to play it on my piano ( without success )

So I'm impressed with your ability to play this track so well, i bet it was tough :P You did a really good job considering the simplicity of the original. NSF track is a laugh after listening to this version! Grats to Stage 3-1!! 10/10 5/5

Stage3-1 responds:

87' wow. Impressive, but yeah, the game is next to impossible. And yes, of all the songs I put on the CD this was by far the most difficult to play. Many takes my friend.. Haha. Thanks for the review.

nostalgia trip

damn, I remember this song. I would spend hours on this game, back when there was no save features XD

I like how you have the transition set in the song; it gives the song a nice feel to it.

Stage3-1 responds:

Ahh yes, no save features, the worst. Thanks, I struggled with the review and I never really was that happy with it. Glad you enjoy it.

very nice

i'm not a big fan of guitars in general, but i do however appreciate hard work and good sounding stuff.
the music you made sounds exactly like how i remember it from the game on nes.. the accoustic part was a bit to slow maybe.
but that doenst affect the rest of the song, which in my ears sounds flawless.

a very nice entry all together! enjoy your high score!!
9/10 5/5 Respect!!!

Stage3-1 responds:

Thanks man. The reason I tossed in the slower acoustic start was for fluidity on the CD. If you heard it in the album it's a change up from the rest of the songs. Thanks for the kind words as this was one of the most difficult songs to record. I'm glad it turned out the way it did.

cool

this game is one of the most annoying i've ever played on nes ^^, it has great music though and this was nice but i didn't really like the metalpart.

Stage3-1 responds:

Ahh, I've actually never played the game, though I've heard it's very aggravating. I covered the song as a request. The transition didn't turn out exactly how I envisioned it, but this was the closest I could get it. Thanks.

Sweet music

I like the music, but ive never played the game so I cant compare it to the original...... 8... I like the rock thing in the middlish... 1/3 of the way in.

Stage3-1 responds:

We are both in the same boat :). When I heard the song I figured I had to do it, although I've still never played the game, I guess I should. Thanks.
