good but room for improvement
I liked it overall, but I found it a bit frustrating. Those big ghosts that come in from both sides get a bit annoying, they seem to spawn randomly, even when you are standing still. The graphics are ok, but could perhaps be worked on a little bit to make things a bit clearer. It may just be your style, but I find that when I play your games, they feel a bit claustrophobic. You should try making your games bigger, too much is happening in such a tiny space.
Also I found a bug, if you change the quality to low (by pressing A?) you can't change it back again, the quality modes don't seem to loop.

Good so far...
I would like to make a few suggestions
A. The wraiths(I'm assuming that's what the blue-ish clear ghostly things are) can kill you instantly. I had full heath and looked up to shoot a skelly adn a wraith hit me.. and just kept going though me. I took a hit for each instant he was on my character and I couldn't hit him, so I died. Make it so the wraith hits you, you can kill it, or when it hits you it backs off, or when ever you get hit you simply can be hurt for a second or so.
B. Beef up the gun graphics, teh machine gun was a one color stick that had a little branch on it to hold it by. I mean, it's not that big of a deal, realy. Just trying to be nice and help out.
C. Make 2 different attack button for the melee and shooting attacks. I trying to shoot a wraith but the character melee'd so the wraith got to me, and I died.
D. Diagonal shooting. That would be very nice. And quite helpful.

Dude i cant say this was the worst game ever and usually id just say that and be off but this game really has alot of potential to be great so i say put more into it basically it was just walkin around shootin stuff why dont u make it a lil more intense with a cool storylin between levels u know and maybe stick some sorta points system so between levels u can upgrade and crap if u can but yea good game.
