Cool rendition of an iconic picture of John! But I think he has a deeper jaw. What is interesting about this painting to me is that in the original photo he looks happy, almost smug. Here he is sort of tired, more frazzled looking...kind of dissapointed and sad in a way. So to me, this seems more like how he might look now, if that same picture was taken.
Nice. But I only really liked John in the Beatles. All the kind of music he did after them was kind've crappy (especially the ones he did with his fugly wife). Especially with all of the much better music choices in th 70's and 80's (Pink Floyd, Judas Priest, Ozzy, etc.). And "peace" is not a political stance. Just going around America and bitching peace everywhere would never change anything. Of course he didn't have a plausable plan for it.
But wow, that was one big and unneeded rant. Anyway, great work, I really do like it.

John Lennon wasn't exactly the greatest person ever before the band split up. He constantly abused his wife and was an asshole in general most of the time and he desperately tried to change that after going to India and later after he left the band. Such a shame for him to have been killed while trying to redeem himself :(

Excellent work. Even though John has been a very popular subject of interest as far as artwork goes in many days' past, once again, you as the artist have really brought out an extremely likable and in depth piece of excellence.
