I sincerely feel bad for people who can't enjoy it
... because this is one of those simple pleasures in life. A sweet, child-like (but not childish) game... with simple, sweet, child-like music... and a simple goal... and a cute giraffe... and... yeah. That's all you need. And as a result, I was one of the people who voted this up into the top 30 (of the flash contest for the month it was submitted) a few months ago... I wish it had made the top 5, but ah well. C'est la vie.
In any event... this really did bring back memories from like 25 years ago (today's my 28th b-day)... of the Little Prince cartoons and such... maybe the "Goodnight Moon" book as well... both in visual style and in the objects/"enemies" you encounter.
But aside from the gorgeous stars, sky, clouds, the giraffe, the star-objects, moon, and the spiny orbs and all....
The best part of the game is the gameplay, believe it or not. The simple bouncing-slighty-higher-and-higher effect is almost flight-like... it's a real sense of freedom and fun. And watching the hairs on the back of the giraffe's neck fly around in the breeze... and him smile when he picks up stars... it's just grand.
A game like this doesn't really even need a goal, it could just go on forever, but.... piloting the first ever giraffe-to-the-moon is a pretty nice ending to have. My only complaint at all, BTW, is that you've disabled the low/medium/high quality selector in the right-click menu... so for us 7.5-year-old-computer users, the music ends LONG before the game ends, due to visual lag. That kinda bites. But oh well. #;-}>
You've made a work of simple beauty, of trampoline-like grace and flight.... of simple left and right motion turning into a fun fun game for people of ALL ages. Great job to both of you!

Very cute and sweet, The music adds a lot to the feel of the game, I like it a lot. I love simple, therapeutic games like this, and I would love to see more :D
