This is the fourth Stick Slayer movie to end with a nuke (or nukes) going off. Talk about repetition.
This is a series that could have went in almost any direction, but it seems quite content to rehash every plot point over and over again. The last episode ended with Stick Slayer setting off a nuke to destroy the stickmen, and himself. This one doesn't even acknowledge that ending and just ignores it ever happening. It does that of course, so that the same ending can be repeated at the end of this movie, but animated better.
This is supposed to be the real world yes? Which makes the inclusion of random Portal characters once again rather unusual. These cameos make no sense in the context of the movie (oh who am I kidding about context by now?) and are quickly killed off once again.
This series has turned out to be thoroughly disappointing, despite the hype for it. There has never been any progression in any of the characters past the first episode, and no story either! Hearing the Pirates of the Caribbean theme being used in most of the entries just got annoying too, and of course its used again here.
Its a shame to see such a great idea be squandered, but thats exactly what has happened with the Stick Slayer series. A nugget of a great idea was thought up, but it was never nurtured to fruition. A great opportunity was missed.
