Reviews for "{B.A.B.} Warrior's Quest"

ill be using this acount alot more

you know who i am

i love those vocal choirs, definatly epic, very apocalyptic sounding

so far it all pretty much sounds like epic build to an explosion of epicness, but ive yet to hear that...

(man i only have one speaker working so i cant get the fullness of that track, luckily i got good speakers so it still pretty full sounding)

aww no pianos?

yeah this is alot of epic builds but theres no like "warriors final battle and evil god thing apears and seems impossible", i think that would top this off very nicly

other than that, your right this is probly the most epic thing youve made

dude you should try out like an RPG style boss batle track that matches up with this, would be amazing in a flash

i really liked your use of flutes here, they bring a nice calmness to the certain parts that they have

i think it still need a little work, but its definatly sounding amazing, although, is this your final track of it, or is it still in wip process???

peace out untill next time

Actually this is the final version, the main purpose of this song was to have something to send to some music production libraries, so I wanted to kinda have the same theme throughout.

Hmm, sounds like it's a buildup? That's not good at all, I don't want to have a track that disappoints.

I was thinking of adding a piano at the end, but I didn't want it to end like my previous song Royalty, so I had to scrap that idea.

Funny thing about this track is that it's the first track of this type that I composed without a clear plan of action except for entertainment value. So the name probably should be changed cuz it really doesn't fit too well.

And about the woodwinds, I tried to do something a little different in this track, namely abusing the hell out of the soft instruments, after listening to Entering the Stronghold.

Peace man, I'll be checking out your stuff in a sec

Impressive.

Very nice job, even for non-free stuff this is outstanding. Where'd you get em from?

Good composition, dynamics, depth, texture. It was epic all right.
I don't hand out many tens but you've pretty much got mine. One thing I especially liked was the quality of the drums in this piece. Drums can really carry a song on their own if used properly, many classicists tend to forget this and go all string or brass. Nice job.

Krayon.

blackattackbitch responds:

Yeah, I've seen your reviews, so to get a 10 from you is really an honor.

I'll send you a PM detailing where I got my stuff in a little while. But the drums are mainly due to Squidfont's drumkit and the Roland Orchestral Rhythm soundfont, with a little help from 2 other percussion soundfonts.

Thanks for the review!

Love it!

Considering this will go on the CD, it's very nice, very very nice.
