Reviews for "Fzero FX, beta test1"

Very nice

You have a very good start there and I hope you fully finish it soon. My only complaint is that it's zoomed in to far. But other then that, keep up the good work!

nice

Its good but a bit hard to see where you are going. Zoom it out a bit more if you know what I mean. But still not to bad to play

Cool start

However you need to know where the walls are and whent hey are coming up second there doesnt seem to be an end to it you can keep going around. I went around i think twice and then stopped because there was nothing telling me that i was doing the right thing. Good start but and great possiblity but definately needs a map so you can see the map and where you are on it. Second it needs a point to it casue just racing around the track will get boring quick. I gave you a 7 overall because there is so much potentital I know this is a beta but this was my 2 cents

Good, but you need to fix a few things..

First of all, there is a bug that kills you instantly if you go too fast and crash into the barrier. Fix that, it really ruins everything. Next, the car takes too much damage. In the real game you can hit the barrier and it gradually drains your energy but in your version it instantly takes a large portion of energy away. Another thing you should do is fix the beeping noise for when the car is low on energy. It is way too high pitched. It should be slower, and more like an alarm noise, somewhat like a siren... well play the game and see what I mean.

Next, make the tracks WIDER!!!! F-Zero GX and X both use wide tracks which make it easier to go fast and not instantly kill yourself by boosting and crashing into a wall. Your track is too narrow and when ever the vehicle goes too fast it's instant game over. The last thing you should fix is the backgrounds; they are too pixelated and don't have enough contrast to the vehicle. Because of this it is sometimes hard to see where you are going. The real F-Zero games don't use that much detail on the roads anyway. You could probably just use simple one or two color textures instead of the designs you used on the road. Other than that, I don't have much else to say. You did a good job of replicating the hover craft like movement of F-Zero. If you can fix the bugs, track design, and other problems this will be awesome!

Zoom out

Try making the track more visible throughout.
