Why does anyone want a living snowman?
You would think that anybody would learn that dabbling with magic can have its consequences. I love this piece it reminds me of the monkey paw and its devastating results for the user. Everybody thinks nice things happen to those that use magic especially at Christmas.
I love your use of dramatic irony to make us aware of these children's grave mistake of dabbling with a magic hat. No, not all magic is evil but it is sure fun to see what happens when an evil snowman comes to life. Too bad these kids are too caught up in Rankin and Bass's Frosty the Snowman.
