The controls are retarded unless you're left handed, which many people aren't. Otherwise, nice music and graphics, and great menu system too.

What is with DDR people..
I thought the game was really cool. I do not know why the ddr people are bashing it. Beatmania is an awsome game, my only complant is that you did four keys and the scratch instead of the standard five or seven. I did like how the music cut down when you started making mistakes too. Definitely worth playing, at least if you like rhythm games other than DDR.

Yeah...uhh...I'm actually really good at ddr on the computer, but...when the controls are z x c v and space, well...i can't really do shit. plus, im not left handed..im right handed...and, well, either way, i cant really do anything. so, actually, im looking forward to the next metal freaks because i know that they will be the arrows...i hope

Best advice I can give is use both hands. 1 or 2 fingers from each hand to hit the keys, and you can use your right thumb for spacebar. That's how I play anyway.

Ok first off nice try. the game is overall very good and the music selection is excelent. I also thought that your display and menus were very good. infact your game would have gotten a 10 except for one major problem, the controls. Seeing as your game is a variation of DDR, the only people who will injoy it are people who like that kind of game. People who like DDR are used to the arrow key control set and the zxcv"space" controls are very annoying. To fix this you should eather add a way to change the controls in the options menu. or change the accual programming of the game to make the controls a bit easier for the player.
