Reviews for "Sting - F777 challenge"

Why's the score so low???

I really like it; I can feel the atmosphere you were describing.

apparently peolpe on NG only care if you can dance to the song. This song wasn't meant for dancing, thus you're getting low scores.

IGNORE THEM. You're doing great!

Blasphem-E responds:

Ya, the main problem I think people have is the lack of bass... O well. Thanks for the review!

Meh..

Lacked the fire I need in music.
Sorry bro.

Blasphem-E responds:

No offense, all I ask is that people check out my other shit before passing judgement on me personally.

I don't really see why iot's so popular?

The start, frankly, was very good. then it deteriorated. It was just the same throughout. Perhaps add bass like you said, or something to spice it up. The start had me almost welling up, and at the end I was crying through sheer boredom. I was expecting it to progress into something...but it didn't.

Blasphem-E responds:

Ya, it was definitely missing something. Honestly, this is probably one of my worst instrumentals because I've got no bass and no real changeups. O well

swoit

at about 1;15 theres a cool synth the whole thing has a little bit of a smashing pumpkins feel in a funny sorta way. cool

Blasphem-E responds:

never thought of it like that... Thanks for the review

slow at the start, in the middle, and at the end

i thought this would be a good progressive piece after listening for about a minute, but, it didn't really go anywhere.
Pretty symmetrical; it's a good base, no doubt about that, but it definately needs another instrument/tune on top.
Perhaps you could use two different piano layers - one doing the main tune including something lower down the piano (instead of a bassline), and one improvising/(a different melody?).
with a little more editing this could be a gem.

Blasphem-E responds:

Ya, that might work, I'll try that, see how it comes out
