Good yet familiar...
It is a good song, very lilting and somewhat innocuous. However, every time I hear it the first part makes my mind immediately skip to Scarecrow's song from the "Wizard of Oz" movie. I can actually hear the lyrics in my head. The rest seems original, I was just wondering if that match was a subconscious thing or just a really weird coincidence.
Hi. I've never seen the movie (russians have their own adaptation of the "Wizard of Oz" book, it's called "The Magician of the Emerald City"). It's not unusual to use violins pizzicato for tender melodies, so intro part of "Timid Girl" can remind of other themes, i guess.
