You definately improved on the original, it is an old song so hearing it revamped felt good. Also good to see you didn't ruin it by adding anything new in. I vote 5.

Aerith is Aeris. Some translations of the game have different spellings. Yes she is the main element of the story of FF7.

Love this song since was a ickle boi back when i was 7 n ffvii came out, very good rendition but since im such a final fantasy freak i would suggest making the echoes longer on the first few chords (makes it more like the original) otherwise i loved it gj mate cant wait to hear more!

aaaah final fantasy VII. how much i love this old game :D! and jeah, the deathscene is the most emotional and heartbraking scene in the whole game history, at least for me. how much i love aerith and her behavior x). but im still confused why i can buy her weapons, after she already died o.o; so i always have the feeling i have the chance to save her in the game...
to the track: of course it's not better than the original. but nobuo uematsu isn't beatable anyways, so it's no wonder why ^^. however, your track is played with a lot of heart... and thats clearly hearable. just listen to it (begins at 0:34) how cautious you worked here not to overhasten the situation, to keep the feelings :). overall i would say aerith would like your track :D (and me too by the way ^^).
