Reviews for "Sky Boarder III"

Amazing

Wow... Amazing, simply amazing.
Thats one of the best flash games ive ever played. Great job.

Roxor But...

I can't load my freaking save game and i am so fucked up. I love this game.

I like it.

What I like:

-The game is huge: You seem to have put one hell of a lot of energy into it.
-Gameplay is great, about every aspect of it.

What I dislike:

-Dialogue is sluggish:
Not that the dialogue itself is slow or boring, but it's the way it's presented.
The same goes for the pre-mission objectives.
Perhaps giving people the option to read through the dialogue on their own rate (clicking to advance through it, or similar) might be a good idea, as would the ability to skip through the mission objectives.

But that is my only complaint.
Great job, hope to see more quality work from you.

Nice gameplay but...

I enjoyed playing the game when i wasn't navigating the menus/text. I didn't like the way it restarted the level once you reached one goal, it should carry on to make the game more fast paced. Overall it was fun in the action parts but i lost interest with repeating levels over again.

I understand that. I was going for a Mario 64 feel. When creating a 2d Side-Scrolling shooter, you pretty much feel limited to nothing but .......well.........side scrolling shooting. I decided to completely flip the genre on its head and do things I've never seen before in a side-scrolling shooter.

hm......

i dident get really into it it wasent a kind of thig u would want to be playing evryday kinda thing but it wus good 4 a computer game

Micol-Rankin-Games responds:

Thanks for the review. This game (as is all games ever created) is not for everyone. If I tried to tailor my games to be suitable for all.....I would rip my face off, feed it to a meatgrinder, and slowly chew on it.....that would probably feel better than the frustration that would come from trying to make a game EVERYONE would love. Thanks for the semi-good rating anyhow.
