Good, but... hm.

This was actually very good in many ways. With your originality and style you should be able to do your own things though, thats why this movie puzzles me. I doubt you aked David Firth if he was okay with this.
In a way I kind of feel its his universe and he should therefore be the only one telling from it. No matter how good or interesting someone else might use it.
If David said he was okay with it, then sure.. but somehow I doubt that is the case here.

That said, it was still very good. A lot more silent and grim than the original SF by Firth, but still kind of keeping some of the weird atmosphere. And the story works too.. and I like the way you tell it. Still, it feels kind of like stealing.
But if you can animate that good, and you can come up with good ideas.. why not make your own thing then? I hate it when good talents waste their time on tributes! You don't need to!

Excellent excellent excellent! Even though it was based off of Salad fingers (which is why i gave style a bit of a low score, it wasn't your own) it still had the suspense and menacing graphics to keep you watching.

I liked that you didn't just try to rip Salad Fingers off, took an underlying aspect of the story and expanded it with your own style. It's not quite Salad Fingers but good none the less.

Eh...

Not at all like Firth's work. The child doesn't come close to resembling the one in the actual thing, nor was he a cheap rip-off of some body-snatcher.

You relied for too heavily on the unexplained rather than the simplistic, which is what makes Salad Fingers so entertaining.

The dog thing is far too old to be getting used, Dream Catcher wasn't nearly That inspiring I should hope.

And, lastly, the gore. Way way WAY too much gore to be a Salad Fingers thing. Do you knwo why scary books chill you more than a movie? because things are left for you to decide and guess at the actuality of.

I'm giving you a two for effort but a four for the beginning barking thing. Was the best part of the whole thing.
