I have slight correction for you.
The idea was really cute and I liked your animation. However, when starting to fashen a tie, you're supposed to have the underside face outward, this way when you feed it through the knot, it is facing right-side-out. So...you might want to fix that because it's incorrect.
The monkey thing was cute too, although I kind of suspected that those weren't his real arms. I like the voice too. All in all, an entertaining little flash.
Ok thanks for the advice. Most of the feedback from other people following along didn't seem to have a problem. I tie a tie everyday and the outside of the tie always faces out. Well if anyone esle has this problem I will address it right away.

I went and got a tie while this movie was starting, and this thing actually taught me how to tie a tie :D I voted 5.

I already know how to tie a tie, but this is probably good for all those NG users with absent father figures. It's amazing how many guys don't know how to tie ties! Well, your flash was incredibly boring, but it was a good idea. I liked the giraffe's voice. It sounded very scholarly. My main complaint is that you made the tie solid red. For teaching knots, the tie or rope should be patterned to improve visibility. Also, the background was too distracting.
That was some graet feed back thank you. I made the tie that colour for time constraints. It took me 3 full days with showering and eating to make it. I will remember that when I create my next how to do video.
It's funny because I did a poll and mothers mainly taught thier children how to tie a tie not thier fathers.

That was a great video lol i might need it one of these days cuz personaly i dont know 1 thing about tieing a tie ! And no dont say what a dumbass or he must be gay cuz alot of frekin guys dont know so thank god this video was made! And if you want to give this video a bad score then you must thinks its stupid because you know how to tie a tie well then why in the blue frekin hell are watching it? Go away let us learn ....
