Pretty Cool

I was wearing headphones when I listened to this and the first part felt like it jumped into my skull and started dancing around on my brain. :P

Nice calm vibes

Hi xKore,

Now I like the mood of this song. You made a long comment about this song...must of been bored? Here is what I thought.

Good:
1) The fade in was a nice way to start the song. I sense some lounge feeling. I like the percussion.
2) 1:08 I like the fx sounds. Feels like I'm flying. 1:38 the bells only made the song sound more dreamy. Kudos. Noticed some vox too.

Hmm:
1) A tad bit repetitive of a start. 1:08 minutes and you finally make a transition. Maybe a build up to 1:08 might have made the song sound less repetitive.
2) 3:13 I was a bit disappointed how you returned back to the beginning theme...except just with the bells helping out. I guess deep house is supposed to be this repetitive...maybe not....but I would have liked something significantly different soon. Different instruments, or different composition maybe?
3) 4:57 I didn't like the rising fx sound. Sounded a little out of tune. Good idea though.

There is not much going on in this song. I am assuming you did that on purpose to bring this sleepy peaceful feeling. I still think, changing the note patterns can still maintain the repetitiveness you were going for...eg keep the bass line but add some background support that actually changes in the song. Nice job with most of the fx sounds. I think you will consider my review a success for you because I did get the dream feel. Keep it up. 5/5 and 9/10 review

Bye for now

You owe me new pants ;;

This is simply amazing. I hate this type of music, but I love this song. Most of this minimal shit gets boring, because people think minimal means "loop the same thing a whole bunch," and it ends up non-emotive trash, but this breathes, grows, creates tension, and has just a whole lot of cool things going on to keep me listening.

You wanted to create mundane, but in making mundane you made something beautiful and mundane, which isn't really mundane at all.

Next time I review one of your songs I'm not going to read your fruity write-up, because maybe that's what made me like this one so much, but probably not because I'm still listening after having forgot most of what it said. :)

Awesome job, fave 5 10 etc.

Wow, Kore

Good job on this one. As of this review, you're #1 on the House genre and it's well deserved. Very good composition. I love Minimal for this reason, without the Wall of Sounds, you've got to keep your audience entertained by actual musicianship and perfection in the mix. You've got both.

Peace
