Hmm

This would have been 5x better if you improved your spelling, sentence structure, and grammar all around.

Not bad for a sprite movie though.

BloodEagle responds:

thanx......i know i got 2 fix the grammer tho

... Its crap

The animation lacks fluidity, the characters lack any kind of personality of their own... and you turned every character that ever existed into a horrible Dragon Ball Z ripoff... disgusting. Energy blasts... last I checked, not one Sonic character... outside of the possible exception of Tails and Eggman in their mechs, have ever used such things. Also, Shadow does have the whole super shadow thing going for him you know... you didn't have to make him shoot Zero in the back :P Though I suppose that it would have taken a bit more work to recolor the Shadow sprites from SB. Also, I don't think you wanted to do the same thing over and over again, but since you are using a DBZ styling anyway, there isn't any avoiding that. Characters need to react when being sliced to pieces rather than just sitting there like inanimate logs.

That being said, there were some decent points... for instance, the backgrounds are ok... though they are ripped from various Sonic games for the most part, the sprites were decent rips and there weren't any major transparency issues. Needless to say, you are improving at least :P

Keep trying, but do try to let the characters shine in the way they are meant to shine rather than using a tired and unoriginal style... Sonic and Shadow and the rest of the Sonic Team characters are meant to use massive speed to their advantage rather than energy beams and flight and the rest of those sill gimicks.

BloodEagle responds:

well hyper shaodw you obviously havent played sonic adventure 2 battle......Rememmber sonic and shadows chaos control????HAND_DIRECTED.....ur no sonic fan

umm...

any fool that knows about Zero as extencivly asi do knows that he cannot be beaten aseasily as in the episodes that he has been in Zero is the most powerful being in the universe he can't lose you dult...

Sorry to say this, but...

This wasn't the best sprite movie I've ever seen. However, it is NOT a lost cause, as you have improved over the course of the movies.

First of all, you removed the colors that were left behind from the sprite sheets, which was a MAJOR improvement. You stopped mixing bittages too much, make them all 32-bits permanently and you'll do much better! You also started animating the energy blasts, which is good.

Now for the bad stuff. Some parts of the characters, like Zero's hair, looked cut off becuse you made too small of squares when you cut them out, but that's an easy fix. Also, the characters are "flat," so take an episode or two where you put aside the fighting and have the plot develop a bit, and show off the characters' personalities. Do that and people will become emotionally tied to them and make the action MUCH better and more intense! Also, try to have the characters focus on what makes them strong, without ripping off DBZ too much (which wasn't too bad, considering I'm a fan). Sonic and co. should rely on speed, Knuckles and the Megaman X characters on power, and the Mario characters (and Tails) on special abilities that set them apart from the herd. Of course, if you want an energy blast or two, go right ahead, but don't totally focus on DBZ rip-offs! Lastly, be aware of fighting game sprites like Trunks. They will look very odd when resized, so either smooth out the pixels in photoshop, or get someone to make you some customs!

In short, this movie wasn't the best, but take my advice and work on it some more, and you've got yourself front-page material!

BloodEagle responds:

go c part 7 its prolly better
