You have one fucked up imagination... I like it..

How did you make it and how did you get it to your computer? I'm trying to become a artist too, but I don't have a scanner or anything or the technology to draw it on a computer. Please respond!!! I would really appreciate it! Thank you!

SmokeryDots responds:

I Use a Tablet, a "Wacom bamboo A5". First I draw a raw sketch, then I scan it to the computer... I then open it in a free program called "The Gimp", then make a total black layer. Then make the black layer a bit transperant(about (80%), then erase the black, so that youve got a black and white print of the sketch, only better and more detailed... As you see fit:-) The add some shade(grey).

Very Macabre

I love your artwork, you put a really nice spin to monsters. I'd put you on par with Clive Barker and your monster with his Cenobites. You'd do great in the horror business.

haha nice!

creeps ya out if you stare at it a little bit too long...wow nice job! wish i could draw this stuff

Excellent.

Really good. Perhaps inspired by Stephen Gammel?

This makes me think...

When I look at this artwork, I feel like it tells a story...

A woman is being tortured by a demon in hell for her sins. The coat hanger represents the abortion she had when she was younger. It led to complications and eventually the inability for her to have children, represented by the cobwebs and spider at the end of the coat hanger (old spinster) and the hole in her gut where her womb should be. She lived her life as an incomplete soul, never wanting to find love, shying from companionship with others (thus the missing arms, representing an inability to embrace others.) Her fear of the world was a result of a deluded outlook, manifested by a missing eye. She only saw half of the truth of the world, and it wasn't the good half. After suffering the loss of a breast following a devastating bout with cancer, her vanity got the better of her, and she eventually could not live with herself. Thus she tightened the noose around her neck and fell into the long sleep, only to wake in a carefully crafted personal hell.

The End

-Disclaimer- I am in no way a religious fanatic, nor do I buy into the idea of using fear of damnation as a means of controlling peoples' behavior. I just find the concept of hell interesting from a story telling perspective.
