Well even though you said it dont work i tried.... and your right, it didnt work, but i played the offline version and the game is great a much better improvement on the other from the series, great work.

This game is simply awesome.

I can't believe how good this game is, I played invasion 3, and I was obsessed with it, but this game is 10 times better. in the Invasion 3 all you did was use a lot of archers but in this game you actully need some strategy. And I like how you have a population limit. It makes the game much more diffucult. One thing I disliked is that it was far too diffucult, until you knew what to do. But other then that great game.

indeed you should have used our comentary but apprently our opinon doesn't count because ervery time i play a new invasion it gets harder and harder to beat. What happend to the gameplay of invasion 2? some complaints
the pop limit: What is going on in your brain? a pop limit of ten?
the arrow storm: thats something of invasion3 that was quite irritaiting because i just stopt at level 6 or so because one boiling thingy on the castle and the arrows take 6 of your men in one

i know its something to make it a bit harder and stuff but this is just to hard. maybe the die hard fans like this and ofcourse disagree(or not), but this is my opinion. so take are commentary, and make the game fun again.

Uhm, actually, the majority of people were complaining that the previous Invasions were far, far too easy, and I was one of them, so I went for harder.

I think the gameplay of Invasion 2 turned out to be 'build archers' :(

Uhm, the population limit increases every level. I put it there to encourage people to spend their money more wisely (e.g. buy upgrades, or purchase the stronger units - cavalry, cannons, rams). But the main reason, truth be told, is that it ran VERY SLOWLY for me. I made Invasion on a 450 Mhz iMac G3, with half a gig of RAM. This was before the Mac Flash Player had hardware rendering. The game slowed down for me when I had about 10 troops on the field.

But, since I'm considerably better at coding now than I was when I made Invasion (I was 11, now I'm 15 :P), I've learned a lot of speed boosts. Check out how fast the engine for Invasion 5's going:

Note: that game is not finished. The troop damages and prices, etc, have not been balanced in the slightest, and the amount of gold you get is overly generous (allows people to reach the higher levels and see how big an army my engine can handle). Just use all cannons if you want a guaranteed win every time. Also check out the framerate changers in the bottom-left of the battlefield (you can play at 0x, 1x, 2x, or 3x speed).
