The drawings were pretty decent, and so was the animation. I don't really understand the whole theme though. My educated self tells me it's a video game, but I'm not quite sure. The movie's nice and long too :) Everything looks good overall.

Contra was one of my favourite games as a kid too. Holy shit, that's probably the only decent homage I've seen - Blue Guy even stole a life at the end! I don't like to nitpick about animation frames, so I won't. This gets a five and a place in the favourites XD
