Reviews for "Black 'n' White"

Racist...

Im not one to be offeneded by a little off-colour humor, but this is just indecent, and it's not really funny.

BellClock responds:

I'm sorry you feel this way, I dont agree however. This is not meant in a racist way, I'm a hippie actually.
LOVE, PEACE AND UNDERSTANDING! (and in both ways)

I'm guessing the flash artist of this is white

This movie runs on the stereotype that black people think that everything white people say to them (You are black) is racist. It true in some sense that some people do not know what to call black people because they do not want it being preceived as racist.

The only thing I don't like is the fact that the only response the black person had was a swear word. Surely he could have said something that was a little less vulger to make his point. Possibly just "ahh Racist." I say this because the 'swearing' black person is an unfair stereotype stating that every black person swears needlessly.

What I suggest to you is that you try making your point without swearing, just so you can make your point without offending anyone.

BellClock responds:

I truly respect your opinion and your thought out review, and perhaps I will change it. But let me point out that the guy doesnt swear because he's black, just to enforce his statement, isnt that why we all swear? I'm not indicating that black people get offended with every thing a white person says, but I've had situations where a black person is causing mayhem (doesnt NEED to be black to cause mayhem, let me clarify that, just in this situation) and a white guy tells him to calm down, he's called a racist. There are situations where white people let themselves get pushed around out of fear of becoming called a racist, I'm not implying this is everywhere, but you do know that it happens, right? This bothers me because people tend to forget that racism works in both ways, and as a way to express myself, I think I have every right to make a movie like this. People need to realise I dont dislike black people because I made the guy in my movie swear, it could be that the guy is a jerk (black people can be jerks too). Jeez, if I went complaining about how movies are racist because that guy or that guy isnt nice, my task would never end. ALL PEOPLE CAN SUCK is my point. I'll take the thing about the swearing into consideration, but only because you remain civil, which I appreciate and admire. And by the way, yes I am white, but my auntie and cousins are black, and one of my better friends is black, so this isnt exactly a Hitler campaign I'm running here. Thanks for your review

not that good

it was too short and the time between each line was too long. however, i do agree with what you're saying in it. so i voted a four just for that reason.

BellClock responds:

alright, thanks

Not funny

What was that? The sound was horrid, the joke (Singular) was stale, the animation was garbage...if this isn't proof that alchohol affects you judgement than I don't know what does.

I've seen you guys do better, why lower yourselves to making something that bad?

BellClock responds:

This was made drunk yes, so it's not very good, but I didnt make it to bug people but to make them smile and even perhaps make them think.
I'll try t'do better dont worry

dont wanna seem rascist or anything...

..but its so god damn true. i really dont give a shit if some black dude calls me whitey or cracker or some shit. but if you drop the "N" bomb, your ass will get stabbed. hehe so they were slaves like, fuckin 100 years ago. stop bitching bitches. flame me. i dare you. not like ill give a shit

BellClock responds:

Not all black people would respond like that, it's a simple joke with a bit of truth in it. I dont think this is racist, it's kinda true, over the top, to make it funny, but still kinda true. Thanks for the high score
