Charcoal was an excellent choice for this piece. Would have been nice if you could link the reference pic (it's good etiquette). Anywho nice job, without reference pic I may be wrong, but I will chance to say that the left eye could have been defined a little bit more, from the picture it looks flat and a bit higher. The jaw line would have been a nice defnition to include, considering it is almost the main focus of the piece (because of contrasting colours, white usually is noticed first). But you knew that, right?

It reminds me of a drawing of a renaissance sculpture of marble.
