This piece has a very classic appeal. It reminds me of the artwork for old NES game manuals. The smallest details have the greatest impact in this piece; such as the dots on the tree in the furthest part of the background and the detail put into the tentacle-esque plants on the ground. This is a very, VERY cool design. The fine lines are undoubtedly your cup of tea.

Thanks! I've been spending a lot more time on my drawings lately, and since this one was drawn with fineliners instead of with Flash/Photoshop the drawings and lines themselves have a different feel to them. Plus I finally got around to coloring a traditional drawing again, which makes a huge difference from black and white.
I'm definitely gonna do more stuff with this technique though, I like how it turned out.
