Reviews for "FF7 - A Haven in the Sky II"

DUDE!!!!

Awesome man, simply one of the best remakes with a FF7 theme i've heard in here....
i myself believe to one of the greatest FF7 fans there is, and i see quarks123 is as well, i must have played the game to the end at least 5 times as well...
You realy don't disapoint man, realy...
Personally i would love to hear you do "Jenova's Theme", "Forgotten Forrest" and "One Winged Angel" :)
the last one should be a tough one though :P
Keep it up dude, you just got yourself a fan ;)

TenchuX responds:

I think One Winged Angel has been perfected as of Advent Children and the OCR Collab Black Metamorphosis, Jenova's Theme has also had an orchestral remastering... though I suppose it and Forgotten Forrest are future possibilities.

not to bad really.

The song actually takes me back but i got to be honost (nothing agenst this song and its not effecting my score) i'm sooo tired of FF7 remixes, covors. it seems like everyone wants to do one these days lol. Anyway, great piano in this. Great fade in on the opening. Lovely use of strings and such. Everything flows nicely. I will say that if the game were ment to sound any way it'd be this way. Keep it up!

It's OK

Too soft though. I like metal and rock so I am not much of a fan. Still great though.

"Whoa"

Well I certainly didn't see that coming, it went from the soothing piano melody and then exploded into epicness... As if it were taking to the sky and then soaring through the air. Kind of like the build up of anticipation when one takes off in a plane. Absolutely awesome, and the instruments work really well together Well done ^^

Soft yet sharp...

Some areas in the beginning felt slightly off, possibly a slightly too low piano key that was used. But I shall forgive you for your transition to the main orchestral melody w/ strong percussion that you use. The timing is pretty much impeccable and the percussion by itself gives me goosebumps. ALL of your instruments flow nicely and the varying chords that you used to convey this drastic remix and remastering of the original really add up to what is a great song overall.

The original was fantastic and this is just as much so. Great job indeed.

Originally an 8/10 but bumped to a 9/10 due to your outstanding performance after the original piano opening.
