Reviews for "Meditation"

Wow

That was amazing, and the music really made it what it was. Great choice. A wonderful work of art. That should be up in some gallery for people to enjoy.

very good

i liked everything about that besides the lense glare (which felt very fake)

Very cool

Please don't stop making cool flashes like this. It's nice to see a little artistry once in a while. I loved the music choice. It gives the whole movie a very surreal feeling to it. The 5 for interactivity is for an interaction that can only be done on a spiritual level. Very chill and very very relaxing.

surprising

like the guy below me i was surprised there was no violence, pleasently surprised, but surprised none the less, the whole time i was watching it i was expecting the two people to jump back and engage in some random fight

A moment of tranquility

Although simple in its rendition, this is a very nice and serene piece of animation, which would make for a very fitting video projection in a chill-out room. This is indeed the sort of animation that you encounter all too seldom on Newgrounds, and it is a good showcase of how the medium of Flash can be used towards other artistic ends than the depiction of violence.

What I was wondering about though: Why does a sunrise fade into darkness, and not into a ray of light? Maybe you might want to change the ending transition to make this look more consistent - and also to leave the viewer with a more cheerful feeling inside. That way the positive atmosphere gets preserved beyond the animation itself; ending in darkness, one's attention is immediately drawn to the closedness of the artistic representation, i.e. the "movie inside a box" perspective. Other than that, it is a beautiful piece.

I've never thought of it like that. I've changed the ending, and I find that the movie works a lot better now. Thanks!
