Thanks. Glad you like it. I wasn't trying a "pity me, I'm different" thing because for one, I'm not that different. It's just a photoshop painting. I was merely making fun of the Best Art this Month and Best Art this Year sections on NG. I've actually had work featured on those sections, but guess which one ;)

Shame there's no almost naked girls sticking their tongues out eith one eyelid half way down... I feel that would have made the piece more aesthetically appealing.

That's what I get for not following the formula.
Art Styles varry from person to person, there really isn't just "This" and "That" for it. There are several identifiable styles that people do, such as Anime, Realistic, and Cartoony. But all-in-all, no two peoples drawing styles, techniques, and art-work they produce is ever the same.
As for this image, I really like subtle blurs and the lighting, and the guy there looks totally badass.

I used Art Deco as reference for the building. As for the art style overall... I don't know... Photoshop poop?
