The shading is great and so is the orientation of it's body to the foreground. It kinda looks like a Myr.

Ahh I remember those, well magic was my old inspiration to get into illustration, tho this badboy's original concept was actually a lot more like the Metalic Sliver card.

I do like the primitive feeling that this picture gives; what does the robot search and destroy, if there's any specific function?

As for the mission these guys patrol the sewers looking for rebels trying to infiltrate the Nevexus Corporation compound. A research group in the novel I'm working on.
The mouth ports work like a flamethrower.
