This had a very arcade feel to it, and I must say I was expecting this to be a little more like 'Whack a mole', the style was original but I feel it wasn't complex enough and you should do the aliens popping out of holes.
The smashing fun was good though and I liked the blood that oozed out from the corpses; it's pretty addictive to sit there with a hammer held high above an alien's head in a psychotic fashion, then bringing it down with a 'thwack' on the poor little thing's head. The game was pretty fast paced as the aliens moved surprisingly quickly and there were swarms of them to exterminate, to my delight.
Like I said though I felt this wasn't complex enough and that you should add music to the game (the little bangs and bashes get pretty annoying after a while), and heck you should even add different backgrounds and make the game more fast paced with power-ups and time trial bonuses, speed the game up and then slow it down. Why not even do different weapons such as a crowbars, axes and pickaxes as well as the sledgehammer to whack those aliens back into space? You could even add a few guns :)
Overall though this needs improvement but for the while it's a fairly addicting play. It's one of those games that you never get bored of - I just love hitting little green things ( which kind of reminded me of something out of Pokemon) over the head! Well done indeed =)
