Reviews for "Animation Tutorial 2"

thank god

now that this is out maybe there won't be so many crappy flashes. doubt it though, because most of them are crappy through a lack of effort (ie. stuff anyone can make in 5 min.)

Very helpful!

I definitely learned something from this. Yeah, I was thinking that it would probably be better to keep these kinds of tweens and animations within their own movie clip, rather than moving each individual part on the main timeline. Thankfully this clearly confirmed that.

In all, fantastic tutorial. I'm glad when the pros reach out to try and help new animators. Eventually that's how we can all get good at Flash.

Thanks again, and good luck with your Short Bus series.

Well I'm not a pro... But I'm looking for a job... Hope I find one... would be nice.

Great!!

I've just started using Flash and this actually helped explain alot for me. Thanks

JackSmack responds:

Glad to hear it celicagt! I'm working on some more for you guys... but can't put them up today.

Great Tutorial!

Hyperblast, I assume you mean putting a body part on top of another, do you see the layer bars next to your timeline? Click and drag them to change positions of your layers/objects in the layers. Top bar= uppermost layer bottom bar= bottom layer. Anyways, great tutorial JackSmack! This answer a lot of my questions about animating body parts.

thanks..

this helped me a lot...
thank you...
but a little suggestion...
you might as well add a joint between his upper and lower body...
so that it has the feel of a backbone... and it won't look stiff...
