This reminds me of this one part of this book I read once, 'The Book of Lost Things.'
It had a giant centipede thing in it, it was pretty cool. Just like this drawing.

Wasn't actually basing myself directly on 'anything' (hard to claim),
but it has indeed occurred to me that it has this magic card vibe to it,

im commenting mostly just so i can rate, since i cant put in my regular vote. magnificent composition and narrative movement+outstanding color work and just enough detail not to kill it= something i would hang on my wall even with a giant centipede creature writhing out of the center of it.
I really lie how consistant you are with the shadows and the shading of the artwork. Honestly, a very good piece fo art.
