Nobody compare this series to salad fingers. I think they are VERY different. This is cute/funny/odd whereas salad fingers is just strange. Ok maybe i'm biased, having been following your work since your previous name days, but I still like this and so should everyone else.
And yes, I think Alphin is cute too.

hehe..I love how you draw this character. I'll definitely be hoping for more of this...On first watching this, Alphin and his teacher reminded me of some of the Goblin characters from Labyrinth. I was also reminded of that old cartoon by KlaskyCsupo, "Ahhhh..Real Monsters"...I adore both of them and now I adore this...So adorable and crotchety haha

Labyrinth... the greatest inspiration for Oothala. I love Brian Froud's creature-design... in fact, you might even say there's even a weeny bit of skeksy in Grodge, but hey...
