Don't like it

wow is that it, flash was boring l did like the song tho

Astropuff responds:

I tried my best to make the flash match up with the song, so quite a few parts do get like that. Such as the beggining.

Better than most I see at the place

pretty cool. Scene changes went well, and I have to say the drawing id better than most of the stuff I see here. Keep up the good work and maybe come out with a series involving these two guys. Keep up the good work.

keep going!

hmm, some interesting shots of characters and original look at perspective and how the fight went on. I liked the silhouettes and reflections in his eyes....i think its got potential. I wasnt actually going to watch it after i saw the start....but hey, it turned out to be interesting.

arg..

because it has a ridiculous size we can't see correctly all the action(when he 's stoping himself by putting his sword in the ground)
else that's not too bad.

It was an ok flick...

Let me first start off on telling you where you performed best in this submission. Your choreography was pretty good. Your animation had a good sense of motion and fluidity. Now on to the critique:
Your characters are bland and un-inspiring. Here you've got one that is a generic dragonball-z type fighter and then you have another that seems to be a a paper doll of a asian sword fighter. The plot and story does not do anything substantial for this work either. While not your fault, the 'one fight-one animation-no plotline to speak of' ploy is tired and boring. Otherwise what this work needs is a hook at the intro to glue ones attention on. I had to watch this twice because i watched the first 20 seconds, and saw him pull his sword out and thought 'another one of these', I suppose your quite lucky that i came back to this as i was ready to move on....

Astropuff responds:

Ah yes, the cliche'd sword pull. But more than anything this was suppose to be a music video, not me trying to make a real fight scene. I like creative music videos, check my favs :P

And I'll remember to make a "hook" next time, I know that really determines whether or not I even want to watch a movie all the way through.
