Lol, technically there are tihrteen songs, not twelve. You forgot about the custom "Song of the Scarecrow"... and on top of that, silver rupees DO earn you cash so while they are not technically for buying stuff you can do so.
I see the trick you did with one of the warp songs... that one fooled me.
